भारत और बंगलादेश ने आकाशवाणी और बेतार के बीच कार्यक्रमों के आदान प्रदान पर समझौता किया। भारत के आकाशवाणी और बंगलादेश के बेतार के बीच कार्यक्रमों के आदान प्रदान से संबंधित 14 जनवरी को एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्‍ताक्षर किये गये. इसके अलावे भारतीय राष्‍ट्रीय फिल्‍म विकास निगम और बंगलादेश फिल्‍म विकास निगम के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर भी हस्‍ताक्षर किये गये. सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री प्रकाश जावड़ेकर और बंगलादेश के सूचना मंत्री मोहम्‍मद एच महमूद की उपस्थिति में नई दिल्‍ली में इन समझौतों पर हस्‍ताक्षर किये गये. दोनों मंत्रियों ने बंगबंधु शेख मजीबुर्रहमान की जीवनी और क्रियाकलापों पर आधारित फिल्‍म संयुक्‍त रूप से बनाने पर विचार-विमर्श किया. यह फिल्‍म मार्च 2020 में रिलीज़ होगी. इस अवसर पर श्री प्रकाश जावडेकर ने कहा कि भारत और बंगलादेश बुनियादी तौर पर मित्र हैं और दोनों की साझा विरासत है. उन्‍होंने कहा कि आकाशवाणी और बंगलादेश बेतार के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन से दोनों देशों के कार्यक्रमों को एक नया आयाम मिलेगा.
